173 Print Outlets Out of 728 Have Completed De-Statization
March 6 – According to the press office of the State Television and Radio Committee, as of March 6, 173 print media outlets out of 728 throughout Ukraine have completed de-statization reform. The following regions are leaders in de-statization: Sumy (50 percent of the region’s newspapers were privatized); Vinnytsia (46 percent), Chernihiv (46 percent), and Ternopil (42 percent).
The State Committee reminds that, according to the law on de-statization, state and communal print outlets which are not reformed before January 1, 2019, will cease to exist because they will lose their registration certificates and will not receive new ones.
