Media Initiative for Human Rights receives award from Dutch Embassy in Ukraine

December 6 – The Media Initiative for Human Rights received the Human Rights Embassy Tulip Award from the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ukraine in a ceremony on December 5 in Kyiv. Since 2018 the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ukraine has presented the Human Rights Embassy Tulip Award to Ukrainian individuals and organizations for their work advancing and protecting human rights throughout the country.

“The way they help people who find themselves in the temporarily occupied territory, how they document crimes and advocate for Ukraine’s support, gives us all faith and confidence that the criminals will be brought to justice and punished. With this award, we want to say that the Netherlands is with you,” said Jennes de Moll, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ukraine.
