Nations Against Disinformation launches campaign to combat disinformation
February 2 – The Nations Against Disinformation initiative launched The Distortion Test, a tool that measures a person’s ability to identify and resist disinformation. Test participants are invited to upload a photo and then answer questions related to several recent disinformation attacks that have occurred around the world. The participant’s image is gradually distorted depending on their answers, reflecting how disinformation distorts reality. The test is available in Ukrainian and English, and users can share their results to social media.
The initiative launched the communications campaign promoting the test in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, and the EUvsDisinfo project.
