New Season of ‘Polilog’ Talk Program
March 15-19 – The Independent Association of Broadcasters has launched the second season of the talk program Polilog, a media platform intended for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Ukraine. The program is unique in that it is produced by IDPs who are journalists, camera operators, and subject experts. The first episode of the new season, taped on March 15, focused on IDP discrimination and included interviews with IDPs who were wounded in Donbas fighting along with non-IDP Ukrainians who were also injured in combat.
Pavlo Novykov, the curator of Polilog, says the platform’s mission is about getting united in order to achieve common goals. Its motto reads: “Speak. Listen. Act.”
A series of Polilog programs will be broadcast from March through May on Wednesday evenings at 8:00 p.m. Program production is supported by Global Affairs Canada (GAC).
