UA:PBC Launches “Ukrainian Radio. Crimea” Project

May 17 – UA:PBC, Ukraine’s public service broadcaster, launched a new project entitled “Ukrainian Radio. Crimea.” It will be broadcast on UA:Ukrainian Radio frequencies 100.7 FM and 549 AM, reaching all of Southern Ukraine and 95% of Crimea. “Ukrainian Radio. Crimea” will be on air from Monday to Friday from 7:10pm to 8:00pm.

On Mondays, at 7:10pm, a show called “Nation. Crimea” will feature Crimeans sharing personal stories, culture, and traditions, and is produced by the Kherson branch of UA:PBC.

On Mondays through Thursdays, at 7:40pm, a program called “Crimea – Ukraine” will focus on information and analysis about developments in Crimea. The program will be produced by the worldwide service of Ukrainian Radio.

Every Friday, a Crimean Tatar language program entitled “KEÇ GECE SHOW” (Goat Night Show) will be broadcast. This show is a mix of music, entertainment, and discussions about socially important issues. A video version of the “KEÇ GECE SHOW” will be available on the UA:PBC YouTube channel.
