Vision of Ukraine 2030: Civil society experts outline path for Ukraine’s future recovery

February 17 – Leading civil society experts presented the paper “Vision of Ukraine 2030: reforming and restoring social and humanitarian fields,” at a roundtable discussion hosted by Ukrinform. The paper examines the current state of Ukrainian civil society and communicates a broad vision of recovery and reform. The experts intend for the paper to generate public discussion and eventually lead to policy documents outlining strategic plans to be presented to the Ukrainian government and its partners.

Thirty-five experts contributed, addressing  national identity, civil society, media, gender policies, education, healthcare, youth, and public assistance for veterans and people with disabilities. Ihor Rozkladai, deputy director of the Center for Democracy and Rule of Law, and Halyna Petrenko, director of Detector Media, contributed to the media development portion of the paper.
